Get a clearer view of the the communications industry works when local Frontier Communications General Manager, Henry Van, joins us. Henry has been in the industry most of his adult life and can give us an in depth look at this complex and ever changing business.

After Hours at Flounder Bob’s
Tuesday, September 13th at 5:30pm

Join the Skagit Young Professionals and the young professionals from the Anacortes Chamber at the newly opened Flounder Bob’s in Skyline Marina in Anacortes. The restaurant features a fantastic seafood menu as well as food for the landlubbers. Flounder Bob’s is owned by Robert and Barbara Atterberry who also own Avenue Catering & Bistro in Burlington and Bob’s Chowder Bar in Anacortes. Flounder Bob’s is located at 2201 Skyline Way in Anacortes. The fun starts at 5:30pm.

Cost is $5 for local chamber members and $10 for non-chamber members. We take cash, check, Visa or Mastercard at the door. Door prizes are welcome. Carpools will be meeting at American Family Insurance- Paul Genest Agency (1840 S. Burlington Blvd. in Burlington) at 4:45pm and leaving at 5:00pm if you would like to join in on one of those.

Friday, September 16th at Eaglemont Golf Course’s Clubhouse Grand Opening

Get acquainted with Big Brothers Big Sisters Northwest Washington CEO, Bliss Goldstein, and find out how the program has been helping youngsters in our area for over 30 years.

We will be in a special location for this FRIDAYS @ 4. Eaglemont Golf Course is celebrating the Grand Opening of their new clubhouse at 4:00pm. Come up for the celebration and to hear from Bliss. The new clubhouse is located past the old clubhouse,  near the end of Eaglemont Dr., at the top of the hill.

Friday, September 23rd

Candidates for the Burlington Mayor position will be on hand to answer questions, explain why they are running, and how they will tackle Burlington’s issues at this FRIDAYS @ 4. Candidates this year are incumbent mayor Ed Brunz and City Councilor Steve Sexton.
